Sexbomb Dancers to transfer to ABS-CBN?

Popular all-female dance group Sexbomb Dancers appear today on Happy Yipee Yehey! which fuelled long-standing claims that the dance group is already transferring to the Kapamilya network.

But Sunshine Garcia, the group’s senior member, explained that there is no final word yet if their network switch is already final.

Sunshine, who has also appeared in a couple of teleseryes in GMA, said that she was told by her manager that they will have guest appearances on Happy Yipee Yehey in the meantime.

She also told Push.com.ph that the idea of leaving their home network is saddening but they need to look for work to support their families.

However, she added quickly that they are grateful to GMA for giving them the break but they need to continue to earn a living.

Sunshine added that as far as she knows, the group has no contract with GMA anymore.

She also hopes that they will stay and have work with ABS-CBN for a long time if they finally transfer.

She did not deny that the group has fears that others might not continue supporting them if they switch networks or that some might not like them at all.

She also continued that there is a need to adjust if their transfer pushes through.

Nevertheless, she said that this is all part of showbiz and what really matters to them is they can get projects to support their families.

(report from Bernie Franco, Push.com.ph)
