MANILA, Philippines (ABS-CBN News) – “Baywalk Bodies” member Rejoice Rivera was found dead with 2 bullet wounds in her head along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) on Friday morning, the group's publicist and manager said.
"Natagpuan siya na may dalawang tama ng baril sa ulo. Kawawang-kawawa at kalunus-lunos ang pagkamatay ng alaga ko. Napakabait niya,” said Lito de Guzman, manager of “Baywalk Bodies,” in a text message sent to ABS-CBN News.
In a separate interview, the publicist of the sexy singing group, Danny Batuigas, said the remains of Rivera, whose real name is Dianne Marie Santos, was discovered by NLEX officials at the Tabang Exit around 5 a.m.
Batuigas added that someone saw Rivera’s body being dumped along the expressway. The witness, however, failed to get the vehicle’s plate number.
Rivera was last seen alive on December 28, he said.
The publicist said Rivera had spoken to her mom before she went missing, and she said she was meeting with a friend of her suitor.
Rivera’s remains now lie in state at St. Peter Chapel, Blue Cross Memorial Chapel, Blas Ople Road in Malolos, Bulacan.
