Angel Locsin said she is overjoyed about Piolo Pascual’s revelation on The Buzz that he is now in a relationship with KC Concepcion.
Angel and Piolo worked together in the 2008 fantaserye Lobo.
Angel also happens to be good friends with KC.
During the press conference for the new season of her primetime drama Imortal, Angel told Push.com.ph, “Napanood ko. ‘Yung pag-amin ni Piolo, na sinabing si KC, ‘She’s taken.’ ‘Yun na talaga ang pinaka-poging nakita ko sa kanya.”
Angel went on to say that because of Piolo’s confession, her old crush on him was almost revived.
“Ang pakiramdam ko talaga habang nanonood, ‘Ang pogi talaga ni Piolo Pascual!’ Para ngang bumalik ‘yung crush ko para sa kanya. Kaya lang taken na siya, ha ha ha!”
As for her own love life, the 25-year-old actress said she doesn’t have any problem with being single, and that she is in no hurry to get into a relationship anytime soon.
“Hindi naman ako naka-taxi, naka-metro, ha ha ha! Darating naman ‘yan. Masarap ang feeling na in love. Pero mas masarap ‘yun kung sa tamang tao.”
While Angel is a single gal, her Imortal leading man John Lloyd Cruz is in a relationship with young actress Shaina Magdayao.
Angel explained that she and John Lloyd both know not to cross any line to avoid conflict in his relationship.
“As much as possible, inihihiwalay ko talaga ‘yung personal kong buhay sa trabaho. Kami ni Lloydy, sa simula pa lang alam na namin na trabaho lang. Masaya kami kapag magkasama sa set. Hindi na namin nilalagyan ng ibang kulay kasi may respeto rin kami sa personal na buhay ng isa’t isa.”
Though she may find some free time this Valentine’s Day, she is still not sure with whom she will spend the occasion.
“May mga nagaaya, pero hindi naman pwedeng sama ka lang nang sama, ha ha ha! Mamimili ka rin siyempre,” she explained. (report from Napoleon Quintos, Push.com.ph)
